" The reason for doing this program was to help me get grounded while facing challenges of everyday life. What changed as result of this program, that i now more aware when i get hijacked by a saboteur and i step back and take actions, to take the driver seat and stop my mind from controlling me. " I wanted to change/improve how I respond to stress, anger, pain, etc. I have known Mahi for many years and for sure trust her skills and experience in facilitating such a process.
I am more aware of the moments of anger or stress and I don’t let them control me. I recognize them better now and try (and sometimes succeed) in handling them and not letting them affect me and my mood. Overall I enjoyed the course and the content because it allowed me to look at aspects I would not have thought of. All the gym exercises were very interesting and informative, they were grounding and calming. It provided a sense of mindfulness for the actual moment and surrounding rather than focusing on past moments or have anxiety about future problems. It provided a sense of the here and now. I totally enjoyed the video on the inner child and reparenting. This was a fascinating exercise and experience. I like that the videos are split into mini video segments because that made them easy to follow and keep concentrated.
I had some difficulties in following the course with its set speed due to personal reasons/commitments but despite the delay I was able to follow most of the course and I am still following up and continue to work on it.
The 3 most important points that you have become aware of in the process.
A· I can use the PQ exercises to turn around many situations of conflict or stress - not letting negative emotions control me/my mood. The choice is mine.
B· Its ok to slip/forget/not respond as I have been practicing through PQ. The important part is to continue the practice and do better next time. Self-empathy.
C· In moments of distress, I can recall positive emotions/positive self-talk. Not to give in to my saboteur (because it is not real/true).
This program helped me:
1· To learn to be calmer in my responses to challenging situations.
2· How to identify negative emotions/saboteurs and stop them in their tracks.
3· Not take things personal. It is not always about me (reparenting). It is what it is. How can I do better next time.
The 3 things I really enjoyed in this program:
1· The conversations/support in the WhatsApp group.
2 · The in-depth reflections I had to do for some of the exercises (especially the inner child one).
3· The gym exercises because they were diverse in style and duration (made them feasible to implement) "

" The coaching session weren't only a positive experience but it was for me a life changer. Am one of the people who didn't believe in life coaching to start with. So I was truly surprised to realize that from the very first session it as extremely helpful.
